SUNY COBLESKILL HUNT SEAT EQUESTRIAN TAKES SECOND PLACE  AT SUNY MORRISVILLE SHOW
 
Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Hunt Seat Equestrian continued their strong start to 2024 on Saturday by posting a score of 34 points to finish second overall in an eight-team field at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's (IHSA) Region 3 Zone 2 opening event hosted by the Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville at the Morrisville Equestrian Center.
 
The Fighting Tigers were led by the duo of first-year rider Machenzie Caldwell, Baldwinsville, N.Y., C.W. Baker High School, who was the event's High Point Rider and sophomore Casey Van Nostrand, Schenectady, N.Y., Guilderland High School, who earned Reserve High Point Rider honors on the day.
 
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday March 2 when the team returns to Morrisville, N.Y. to compete in an IHSA Region 3 Zone to event to be hosted by the Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville at the college's equestrian center beginning at 9:00 a.m.
