Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team took to the road for their final North Atlantic Conference (NAC) road game of the regular season falling to the host Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville in league play 84-79. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are now 14-9 overall including a 9-3 record versus league opponents while the Mustangs move to 20-3 overall with a 13-1 mark in conference play.

However, in the second half the Mustangs turned up the defensive pressure to open the half on a 13-to-3 run to tie the contest at 47-47 at the 15:34 mark of the half and after the teams traded leads, Morrisville eventually extended their advantage to 61-54 with 9:03 left in regulation.
Cobleskill tied the game at 63-63 with 6:43 left to play on a lay-up by
Andre Starks but the Mustangs answered to take a 65-63 lead with 6:02 remaining and never looked back connecting on a several high-pressure shots and connecting on their free throws to secure the victory and the league's Western Division title.

Cobleskill will return home on Friday February 9 when they host the Broncos of SUNY Delhi at the Iorio Gymnasium with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
