Schoharie, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team took to the turf at Schoharie High School's Storm Field on Friday evening to drop a 21-2 decision to the visiting Garnett Chargers of Union College in non-league action. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are now 2-5 overall on the season while the Garnett Chargers improve to 4-0 on the year to date.
The Garnett Chargers broke the contest open in the fourth inning when they scored eight times to turn a 3-0 lead into an 11-0 advantage and never looked back as Union hitters torched Fighting Tiger pitching for 20 hits on the evening.

Zach Ducorsky, Oceanside, N.Y., Oceanside High School, went 1-for-4 with a double and a RBI.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday, March 9, when they host the Statesmen of Hobart College at SUNY Oneonta's Red Dragon Baseball Field for a pair of non-league contests beginning at 11:00 a.m.
