Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team ended a two-game losing streak by mauling the visiting Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play at Fighting Tiger Field on Tuesday afternoon by a 23-2 margin. With the win the Fighting Tigers move to 7-17 overall with a 3-1 record in NAC action while the Kangaroos drop to 1-20 overall with a 0-3 conference record.
The Fighting Tigers held a 2-0 lead going into the third inning when they unleashed a nine-run barrage on the Kangaroo pitching staff highlighting by a prodigious three-run homer over the left field wall by sophomore left fielder
Logan Firment, Andes, N.Y., South Kortright High School, that staked the home team to an 11-0 advantage that they never looked back from as the Cobleskill offense pounded out a season best 25 hits on the afternoon.

The Fighting Tigers will close out the season series with Canton on Wednesday April 17 with a NAC doubleheader at Fighting Tiger Field beginning at 2:00 p.m.
