Despite this, Canton capitalized on their opportunities, with Chamonix Jackson scoring the first goal in the 23rd minute, assisted by Kamryn Barnes. The duo switched roles in the second half, with Barnes scoring in the 55th minute, assisted by Jackson to put the game out of reach.

Cobleskill earned five corner kicks and committed five fouls during the match, compared to Canton's seven corner kicks and three fouls. Canton held the advantage in total shots (15-3) over the Fighting Tigers.
