Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team turned in a strong effort on Saturday, placing seventh overall at the 2025 SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Championship hosted by Plattsburgh State at the Ruger Woods 6K course.
Leading the way for the Fighting Tigers was sophomore
Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, N.Y.), who finished 22nd overall with a time of 24:06.9. Waite maintained her position throughout the race, coming through the 2,650-meter split in 22nd before holding steady to the finish line in a competitive championship field.
Senior
Alyssa Freeguard (Argyle, N.Y.) continued her consistent season with a 30th-place finish in 24:52.8, while sophomore
Gillian Miner (Saranac, N.Y.) followed in 53rd with a time of 26:07.3. Sophomore
Madison Binette (Lewiston, Maine) crossed just behind in 56th at 26:15.5, and sophomore
Liz Vaughn (Chemung, N.Y.) rounded out Cobleskill's scoring five in 76th place with a time of 28:10.5.
Additional strong performances came from sophomore
Molly Repicky (Schoharie, N.Y.), who placed 77th in 28:11.7, and first-year
Isabella Baier (McKinney, Texas), who finished in 78th with a time of 28:24.1.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Friday, November 15, when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. for the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Invitational.
