Rochester, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team closed out its 2025 campaign on Saturday morning, competing against one of the strongest fields in the region at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championships. The event was hosted at Genesee Valley Park on an 8K course known for its tough conditions.
Senior
Nik Recore (Peru, N.Y.) led the way for the Tigers, placing 84th in 27:25.5 as he navigated heavy packs through the middle miles to close out a strong final collegiate cross country race. Fellow senior
Jacob Rhinesmith (Somerset, N.J.) followed as Cobleskill's second scorer, taking 150th in 29:57.6 with steady splits throughout the final stretch.
Junior
Michael Jocz (Syracuse, N.Y.) finished 169th in 31:24.7, while junior
David Kogan (Brooklyn, N.Y.) placed 178th in 33:34.3, battling through a competitive regional field. Junior
Antonio Gonzalez (Niskayuna, N.Y.) rounded out the Cobleskill lineup, finishing 183rd in 35:09.0.
The meet concludes a season of consistent growth and resilience for the Tigers, who continued to show depth and steady improvement throughout the fall.
