Cortland, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill men's track and field team took the field and the track Friday evening for Day One of the 2025 SUNYAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by SUNY Cortland.
In the javelin,
Brayden Lambert (Camden, NY) placed 12th overall with a throw of 37.53 meters (123-1), while teammate
Kameron Cusmano (Oakfield, NY/Oakfield-Alabama) followed closely in 14th with a toss of 36.53 meters (119-10), giving Cobleskill two top-15 finishes in the event.
In the hammer throw,
Cal Marks (Wellsburg, NY/Elmira) posted a 16th-place finish with a mark of 41.59 meters (136-5).
Mark Temp (Richmondville, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) added a throw of 29.60 meters (97-1), placing 22nd.
On the track,
Zachary Russell (Deposit, NY) ran 16.64 in the 110-meter hurdles to finish 15th, while
Charles Cooper (Connetquot, NY) placed 15th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.55.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday morning for Day Two of the SUNYAC Championships, with events scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
