Clinton, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team turned in a steady performance on Saturday, finishing eighth overall at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational. The meet, run over a 5K course, brought together a competitive field of regional programs and served as a strong test for the Fighting Tigers.
Senior
Nik Recore (Peru, NY) once again paced Cobleskill, crossing the line in 44th place with a time of 16:29.1. Fellow senior
Jacob Rhinesmith (Somerset, NJ) added depth to the lineup with a 92nd-place finish in 18:24.7.
The underclassmen provided valuable support for the team, as sophomore
David Kogan (Brooklyn, NY) finished 107th in 19:58.8, followed closely by junior
Michael Jocz (Syracuse, NY) in 108th at 20:00.3. Junior
Antonio Gonzalez (Niskayuna, NY) capped the Cobleskill scoring with a 109th-place effort in 20:31.0.
