Cobleskill Posts Strong Performances at Utica Pioneer Fast Trax Invite

Utica, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill women's indoor track and field team put together a strong showing on Saturday at the Utica Pioneer Fast Trax Invite, hosted by Utica University.

The Tigers saw multiple athletes turn in strong results on the track, led by Anneliese Klein (Carlisle, NY), who narrowly missed advancing to the finals in the 60-meter hurdles. Klein placed 11th overall with a time of 9.63 seconds. Trinity Grant (Albany, NY) followed close behind with a 15th-place finish after clocking 9.89 seconds, while Allison Merle (Holley, NY) placed 23rd in 10.42 seconds.

Cobleskill posted a solid day in the mile, highlighted by Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, NY), who led the Tigers with a seventh-place finish in a time of 5:48.85. Gillian Miner (Saranac, NY) added a 15th-place finish at 6:16.32, while Madison Binette (Lewiston, ME) finished 18th in 6:23.42. Molly Repicky (Schoharie, NY) rounded out the group with a 21st-place result after crossing the line in 6:53.08.

Klein and Grant also delivered strong performances in the 300 meters, with Klein placing fifth overall in 45.21 seconds for one of the Tigers top finishes of the day and Grant following in seventh at 46.05 seconds.

In the middle-distance events, Miner added an 11th-place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:44.06. Binette competed in the 1,000 meters and placed sixth overall with a time of 3:47.18, while Waite recorded another top-five finish, placing fifth with a time of 3:24.30.

The Tigers also saw solid results in the throws. In the weight throw, Adira-Virginia Greer-Padilla (Fallsburg, NY) led Cobleskill with a ninth-place finish after a toss of 14.05 meters (46-1¼). Dory Gosselin (Whitehall, NY) placed 14th with a throw of 11.94 meters (39-2¼), while Sidney Glover (Cincinnatus, NY) finished 23rd at 11.01 meters (36-1½).

In the shot put, Glover led the Tigers with an 18th-place finish after a mark of 9.57 meters (31-4¾). Gosselin followed in 20th with a toss of 9.41 meters (30-10½), while Greer-Padilla placed 24th with a throw of 8.68 meters (28-5¾).

Cobleskill was also represented in the pole vault by Finley McArdle (East Aurora, NY), who placed 10th after clearing a height of 2.27 meters (7-5¼).
