Cobleskill Wraps Up SUNYAC Championships; Mann Sets Own Shot Put Record

Brockport, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's and women's indoor track and field teams wrapped up competition on Day Two of the SUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at SUNY Brockport, highlighted by a record-breaking performance from sophomore thrower Will Mann.

Mann (Pawling, NY) delivered the standout moment of the day, breaking his own SUNY Cobleskill program record in the shot put with a toss of 14.06 meters (46-1½). The mark earned him an eighth-place finish and scoring position for the Tigers, capping an impressive SUNYAC debut after setting the previous record earlier this season at the Utica Winter Opener on 1/16/26.

On the track, Anneliese Klein (Carlisle, NY) turned in a strong finals performance in the 60-meter hurdles, placing seventh overall with a time of 9.71 seconds to earn points for the women's team. Klein also contributed in the field events, finishing eighth in the long jump with a mark of 5.17 meters (16-11½). Her efforts gave her the highest individual point total for the Fighting Tigers at the meet.

Following two days of competition, the Cobleskill men's and women's teams finished 11th overall in the SUNYAC Indoor Championships.
