Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball program had a program-record four student-athletes named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Men's Basketball Academic All-District Team. Senior
Chrischen Chung (Poughkeepsie, NY), junior
Conor Holland (Marathon, NY) and sophomores
Andrew Wright (Berne, NY), and
Zander Poissant (East Greenbush, NY) were recognized for their achievements in the classroom and on the court.
The CSC Academic All-District Team honors student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both academically and athletically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet established participation and performance criteria.
Chung, a senior captain majoring in Business Administration, played a key role for the Tigers this season, starting 24 of 26 games. He averaged 25.1 minutes per game while contributing 8.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest. He led the team with 44 three-pointers and shot an impressive 92 percent from the free throw line.
Holland, a junior Business Administration major, made an immediate impact in his first season with the Tigers. He appeared in 25 games with 11 starts, averaging 7.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 40 percent from the field.
Wright, a sophomore majoring in Communication in Technology, started 21 games and averaged a career-high 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He led the team in field goal percentage, shooting 51.6 percent while logging 21.9 minutes per game.
Poissant, a sophomore Business Administration major, played in all 26 games with three starts in his first season with Cobleskill. He averaged 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor.

"Four players being selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team means a lot to our program and is further proof that this is a special group of student-athletes capable of going above and beyond to succeed in the classroom and on the court."
