COBLESKILL, N.Y. — The SUNY Cobleskill Athletics Department is proud to announce the induction of its newest class of Chi Alpha Sigma members, honoring student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding academic and athletic excellence.
This year's inductees represent the very best of SUNY Cobleskill, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in competition. To qualify for Chi Alpha Sigma membership, student-athletes must have achieved junior or senior academic standing and maintain a high cumulative grade point average while actively competing in intercollegiate athletics.
The ceremony honored the dedication, discipline, and leadership displayed by the Fighting Tigers' student-athletes throughout their collegiate careers. Balancing rigorous academic workloads with the demands of intercollegiate competition, these individuals exemplify the Division III philosophy of developing the complete student-athlete. "Tonight, we celebrate more than academic achievement — we celebrate perseverance, commitment, and character," said Director of Athletics Marie Curran. "Our Chi Alpha Sigma inductees represent the very best of SUNY Cobleskill. They have embraced the challenge of competing at a high level while excelling in the classroom, and they continue to set the standard for what it means to be a Fighting Tiger."
Chi Alpha Sigma membership not only honors past accomplishments but also connects student-athletes to a national network of peers who share a commitment to excellence in both athletics and academics. Inductees are encouraged to lead by example and carry forward the values of integrity, leadership, and service. As SUNY Cobleskill continues to build momentum across its athletic programs, academic achievement remains a cornerstone of the department's mission.
The SUNY Cobleskill Athletics Department congratulates all inductees and looks forward to their continued achievements on campus and beyond.
