Greenwich, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team placed 15th at the RPI Fairgrounds Showdown on Saturday afternoon at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The meet featured a deep field that included nationally ranked programs and strong regional competition.

Aiden Pettit (Corinth, NY) led the Fighting Tigers across the line, placing 145th overall with a time of 27:48.1.

Michael Jocz (Syracuse, NY) was the next Cobleskill finisher, crossing in 29:19.4 to place 179th. David Kogan (Brooklyn, NY) followed in 204th with a time of 31:49.0, while Hunter Johnson (Union Dale, PA) finished 206th in 32:10.0.

Lucas Walz (Baldwinsville, NY) rounded out the Tigers' scoring lineup, crossing the finish line in 38:22.0.

The race gave Cobleskill another opportunity to test itself against a strong field as the Tigers continue building toward the heart of the fall schedule.
