<strong>Cobleskill, N.Y.</strong> – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that women's golf sophomore Madison Paddock (Accord, NY) and men's soccer sophomore Gavin McEnroe (Burlington Flats, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending September 6, 2026.<br /> <br /> Paddock led the Fighting Tigers on the course over the weekend, capturing the individual title at the SUNY Delhi Fall Invitational. The sophomore fired a round of 91 (+19), carding six pars to finish atop the six-player field and secure the first collegiate victory of her career. She followed up that performance with a second-place finish on Sunday at the SUNY Delhi Bronco Fall Tournament, shooting an 87 (+15). Paddock recorded five pars and made a late charge with birdies on the par-3 14th and par-4 16th holes.<br /> <br /> McEnroe provided an offensive spark for the Fighting Tigers in their home opener against Yeshiva University, scoring his first goal of the season. In the 38th minute, the sophomore forward collected the ball near the right touchline before unleashing a strike from roughly 35 yards out into the upper-left corner of the net, giving Cobleskill a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.<br /> <br />
