Morgan Flamholtz enters her third season as Cobleskill softball head coach in 2025.
Flamholtz has a combined record of 30-42 in two seasons with a 18-9 overall conference record. In 2024, she led the Fighting Tigers to their first above .500 season since 2015 with a 19-17 overall record with a 12-3 conference record, and a second-place finish in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) west division regular season which earned her team their second straight NAC playoff appearance. Her 2023 squad finished 11-25 overall with a 6-6 NAC record and a NAC playoff appearance.
Flamholtz teams have featured 10 All-NAC selections along with six players named to the NFCA American Scholar-Athlete Team and six All-NAC Academic selections.
Flamholtz comes to the Fighting Tigers after spending the past four seasons as an assistant coach at SUNY Brockport under Head Coach John Dumaw where she spent her college career playing catcher/third base for the Golden Eagles. While at Brockport, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology/Sport Science/Physical Education in 2018 and a Master's Degree in Physical Education/Athletic Administration in 2021. Additionally, during her time at Brockport, she served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Education.
Prior to her collegiate playing career, the new Fighting Tiger mentor was a prep standout at Beacon High School in Beacon, N.Y. where she was a three-time all-conference selection and a All-Section I Team selection during her sophomore and junior seasons. During her high school career, she also spent her summers, for eight years, playing for the elite Beacon Xtreme travel program.
