Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's swimming & diving team easily defeated visiting opponents: Sarah Lawrence College by a 134-95 score and the College of Mount Saint Vincent by a 177-34 margin at the Bouck Hall Natatorium on Saturday afternoon. With the wins the Fighting Tigers improve to 3-1 overall on the campaign versus head-to-head competition.
Cobleskill took six individual events and a relay on the afternoon led by freshman
Maia Rumsey, Trumansburg, N.Y., Odessa-Montour High School, who won the 50-yard freestyle in 27.30 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.51. The Orange & Black also received individual event wins from: sophomore
Erin Fitzgerald, West Milford, N.J., West Milford High School, in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:41.79, senior
Tyler Little, Odessa, N.Y., Odessa-Montour High School, who the 100-yard backstroke in 1:17.67 , sophomore
Mackenzie Cross, Queensbury, N.Y., Queensbury High School, in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:22.70 and from sophomore
Merrin Gural, Summitt, N.Y., The Hewitt School, in one-meter diving with 213.80 points.
The Fighting Tigers capped the successful afternoon event with a victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay as the team of:

The Orange & Black will next return to the deck on Saturday November 15 when they travel to Geneva, N.Y. to face host William Smith College along with Cazenovia College beginning at 1:00 p.m. Â
