Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-5 decision to visiting SUNY Polytechnic Institute in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Wednesday afternoon at the Soccer/Lax Complex. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 3-8 overall on the season to date including a 1-4 mark in NEAC action while the Wildcats improve to 4-6 on the year with 2-3 record in conference play.
Leading 7-5 heading into the final period the visiting Wildcats erupted for five goals in the stanza to outdistance the Fighting Tigers and secure the conference victory.
The Wildcats were led on offense by the duo of junior midfielder Neil Levanti, Claysville, N.Y., New Hartford High School, who scored four goals and had one assist and junior attackman Neil Nembhard, Commack, N.Y., Commack High School, who had four goals. Senior midfielder Shane Joswick, New York Mills, N.Y., New York Mills High School, also tallied three times for the Wildcats in the victory.

Chris Wright, Ronkonkoma, N.Y., Connetquot High School, who had two goals and by freshman attackman Time Liguori, Remsenburg, N.Y., Westhampton Beach High School, and junior midfielder Tim Rossi, Neversink, N.Y., Tri-Valley High School, who each had a goal and an assist on the afternoon.

Eric Randazzo, Tully, N.Y., Tully High School, made 21 saves on the afternoon to keep the Orange & Black in contention throughout the afternoon. Â
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Friday April 17 when they host the Lions of Bryn Athyn College in conference action with face-off at 4:00 p.m. while the Wildcats will next take to the turf on Sunday April 19 when they face the Bryn Athyn Lions in league action beginning at 1:00 p.m.Â
