Aston, Pa.: After nearly two weeks of inactivity due to the winter weather conditions that have hit the northeast the SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team took to the road on Tuesday afternoon losing an 18-9 decision to the Knights of Neumann University in non-league action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 2-1 overall on the year while the Knights are now 2-4 overall on the campaign.
Cobleskill's lack of game activity showed early as Fighting Tiger defensive lapses allowed the Knights to score the first seven goals of the contest from which they never looked back. For the game, Neumann out shot Cobleskill 60-to-29 on the afternoon while holding a 66-to-50 advantage in ground balls. Cobleskill also committed 32 turnovers as compared to only 19 for the home team.

Jeremy Mowrey, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School/Herkimer Community College, scored two goals, passed out an assist and picked up four ground balls on the day while sophomore midfielder
Jake McCarthy, Kings Park, N.Y., Kings Park High School, had two goals and an assist in the loss. Sophomore
Garrett Vigrass, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School, was also a multiple scorer for the Orange & Black with a pair of goals.
The Fighting Tigers are next scheduled to be in action on Thursday March 30
th when they host the Eagles of Green Mountain College in non-conference action at Cobleskill's Soccer/Lax Complex with face-off slated for 4:00 p.m.
