Softball Suffers Pair of Shutout Losses in NEAC Action at Penn College 4-0 & 11-0

Wildcat Pitching Holds Fighting Tigers in Check in Doubleheader Sweep


Williamstown, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's softball team suffered a pair of scoreless losses in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) doubleheader on Friday afternoon to the host Wildcats of Penn College by tallies of 4-0 and 11-0. With the defeats the Fighting Tigers are now 2-14 overall on the year with a 1-9 record in conference action while the Wildcats move to 11-3 overall including an unblemished 8-0 mark in NEAC play.

On a day when Cobleskill could manage no runs and only five hits in 12 innings of play, sophomore catcher/designated hitter Georgiana Crisci, Walden, N.Y., Valley Central High School, had hits in both ends of the twin bill going 2-for-6 on the day. 

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Monday April 17th they host NEAC rival Morrisville State College at Fighting Tiger Park with first pitch at 3:00 p.m.
