Buffalo, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team took to the road on Wednesday afternoon recording a 24-4 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win over the Mavericks of Medaille College at Dobson Field. With the victory Fighting Tigers move to 4-8 overall on the season including a 1-6 mark in NEAC play while the Mavericks are now 1-12 overall with a 0-7 mark in league action.
After the home team opened the scoring with the game's first goal the Fighting Tigers reeled off the next seven of the contest on their way to taking a 12-3 advantage into the locker room at halftime from which they never looked back.
On the afternoon the Black & Orange held considerable advantages in most statistical categories outshooting the Mavericks 59-to-31 on the day while holding the edge in groundballs by a 44-to-24. Additionally the visitors committed only 11 turnovers on the day while forcing their hosts into 18.

Jeremy Mowrey, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School/Herkimer Community College, led a potent offensive attack with five goals and four assists with sophomore attackman
Garrett Vigrass, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School, adding six goals and two assists to the team's victory totals and sophomore attackman
Sean Degnan, Monroe, N.Y., Monroe-Woodbury High School, contributing five goals and three assists on the day.
In the net senior goalkeeper
John Montaniz, Lindenhurst, N.Y., Lindenhurst High School/Suffolk Community College, made 13 saves on the afternoon to post his fourth win of the season.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Saturday April 29 when they host the Lions of Bryn Athyn College for a NEAC contest beginning at 1:00 p.m. Prior to face-off the Cobleskill will honor the graduating class of 2017 in a pre-game ceremony.
