In the opener the Fighting Tigers broke open a 0-0 tie by exploding for five runs in the top of the fourth inning and seven runs in the top of the fifth to put the game away quickly.
The Cobleskill offense was led by junior shortstop Nicole Flint, Union Springs, N.Y., Cato-Meridian High School/Monroe Community College, who was 2-for-2 with a stolen base, a run scored and three RBI and senior third baseman Hannah Hoffman, Troy, N.Y., Averill Park High School/Hudson Valley Community College, who 3-for-4 with a run scored and a pair of RBI in the win.

Freshman lefty Rachel Hall, Greenwich, N.Y., Greenwich High School, posted the shutout victory scattering five hits while striking out five and walking no one to improve to 5-3 on the season.
In the nightcap with the scored tied 3-3 going into the top of the fifth designated hitter Hannah Hoffman walked with one out and advanced to second on an error on the third baseman which allowed Cobleskill freshman pitcher Edyliese Aquino, Stamford, Conn., West Hill High School, to be safe at first. Junior catcher Gabriella Danthine, Sloansville, N.Y., Schoharie High School, then walked to load the bases bringing up first baseman Ali Changa. Changa then singled home Hoffman with the go-ahead run to make it 4-3 with the bases still loaded. Sophomore third baseman Brianna Becker, Euless, Texas, Trinity High School, then flied out deep to left center to drive in Aquino and make it 5-3.
Aquino then took to the mound to make the lead stand-up as the rookie right hander went the full seven innings allowing three earned runs on six hits, striking out five to even her record at 2-2 on the year.
Once again Nichol Flint and Hannah Hoffman continued to deliver offensively for the Orange & Black as Flint went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored while Hoffman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a RBI. Ali Changa was also a factor in the victory for the visitors going 2-for-4 with a RBI at the plate.
