Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's swimming & diving team returned to action after their winter break on Saturday posting an impressive 88-33 win over the host Raptors of Bard College. With the victory the Fighting Tigers improve to 4-9 overall on the year versus head-to-head competition winning both relays and seven individual events.
Individually the Fighting Tigers received event wins from: freshman
Katherine Noncarrow, Allendale, N.J., Northern Highland Regional High School, who captured: the 500-yard freestyle in 5:49.10, the 100-yard butterfly in 1:07.46 and the 100-breaststroke in 1:21.52, freshman
Brooke Andera, Allegany, N.Y. Allegany-Limestone High School, who won the 50-yard freestyle in 29.41 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:04.17, freshman
Samantha Bowker, Walton, N.Y., Walton High School, who captured the 100-yard backstroke in 1:17.46 and from freshman
Katrina Oakes, Bombay, N.Y., Salmon River High School, who won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:29.78.
The Orange & Black will return to action on Tuesday January 15
th when they host the Pioneers of William Patterson University beginning at 1:00 p.m.
