Oneonta, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team continued their extended spring break road trip on Tuesday afternoon losing a hard hitting 11-9 decision to the Broncos or SUNY Delhi 11-9 on the turf at SUNY Oneonta's Red Dragon Stadium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-3 overall while the Broncos improve to 5-2 on the season.
After Delhi moved out to a 7-3 halftime advantage; Â Cobleskill came storming back in the third period scoring five straight goals to take an 8-7 lead with 5:27 left in the stanza, when junior
Ed White, Utica, N.Y., Thomas R. Proctor/Herkimer Community College, broke through the Bronco defense to score unassisted.
However the Broncos closed the period with a pair of goals to take a 9-8 lead into the fourth period.
The Fighting Tigers tied the contest for the final time with 9:19 left in regulation when they converted on a man-down situation with

Edwin Martinez, Brentwood, N.Y., Brentwood High School, weakside to make it 9-9.
Unfortunately for Cobleskill the Broncos converted on a man-up situation with 4:00 left in regulation then added an insurance goal with 1:23 left to play to secure the victory.
Edwin Martinez scored three goals on the afternoon while
Ed White tallied twice and dished out three assists to lead the Fighting Tigers offensively. The Orange & Black also received two goals and an assist from senior attackman

Josh Johnston, Thornton, N.H., Plymouth Regional High School, caused five turnovers and picked up a team high of seven ground balls on the day. Â Â Â
Cobleskill will next be in action on Thursday March 21
st when they travel to Yonkers, N.Y. to face the Dolphins of the College of Mount Saint Vincent at Tibbetts Brook Park beginning at 4:00 p.m.
