Keuka Park, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill softball team hit the road on Wednesday afternoon to split a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) games with the Wolves of Keuka College taking first game 14-0 then falling in the second game by a score of 6-1. With the split the Fighting Tigers are now 7-11 including a 4-4 record in NEAC action while Keuka is now 7-13 overall with a 4-4 conference mark.
In the opener, the Fighting Tigers mauled Wolves pitchers for 14 runs on 15 hits highlighted by a nine run third inning which secured the win for the Orange & Black.
Freshman center fielder
Jillian Nitchman, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ballston Spa High School, keyed the team's offensive assault going 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and four RBI while sophomore pitcher
Rachel Hall, Greenwich, N.Y., Greenwich High School, helped her own cause going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Operating out of the lead-off spot freshman second baseman
Alyssa Villielm, Rifton, N.Y., Kingston High School, was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI with junior left fielder
Quesha Sells, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI.

Rachel Hall proved to be too much for Keuka on the mound allowing only two hits in five innings striking out six to go with no walks to post the shutout victory.
In the nightcap, Keuka turned the tables on the Orange & Black holding the visitors to only one run on four hits.
Senior third baseman
Mackenzie Holbert, Sauquoit, N.Y., New Hartford High School/Herkimer Community College, proved to be the lone bright spot for the Fighting Tigers going 2-for-3 with a triple and the team's lone RBI.
Cobleskill will return to action over the weekend for a pair of NEAC doubleheaders when they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington on Saturday April 13
th beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed on Sunday by a doubleheader versus the Bison of Gallaudet University on Sunday April 14
th with first pitch slated for 12:00 p.m.
