Fighting Tiger Women's Swimming & Diving Downs SUNY Delhi 71-66 to Close Semester

Cobleskill Women's Swimmers Dunk Delhi 71-66


Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's swimming & diving team closed their semester on Wednesday evening by posting a 71-66 win over the visiting Broncos of SUNY Delhi at the Bouck Hall Natatorium. With the win the Fighting Tigers even their record to 3-3 overall on the season versus head-to-head competition.

The Fighting Tiger relay team of senior captain Katherine Noncarrow, Allendale, N.J., Northern Highlands Regional High School, and first-year performers Claire Knowlton, Audrey Sliker, Southington, Conn., Southington High School, and Grabriela Bochen, Brooklyn, N.Y., High School of Telecommunication Arts & Technology, won the 200-Yard Medley Relay in 2:25.20 then with first-year Calista Bernard, Peru, N.Y., Home Schooled, replacing an injured Audrey Sliker took the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay in a time of 2:22.56.

Individually Katherine Noncarrow won the 1650-Yard Freestyle in 21:26.83 while Claire Knowlton captured the 500-Yard Freestyle in 6:50.26. First-year diver Zoe Conklin, Sterling, Conn., Killingly High School, took the one-meter dive with a total of 148.80 points.

Cobleskill will return to action after the winter break when they travel to Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. to meet the Raptors of Bard College on Wednesday January 12, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
