Cobleskill, N.Y.: After multiple delays the SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team returned home on Wednesday afternoon to drop a 25-13 decision to the visiting Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are currently 0-2 overall on the season including a 0-2 mark in league action while Canton improves to 2-2 on the year including a 2-2 record in NAC play.
The Fighting Tigers were led by sophomore midfielder
Giovanni Bevaqua, Newtown, N.J., Newton High School, who scored five goals, passed out a pair of assists and picked-up four groundballs on the afternoon and by freshman
Gregory Neumann, Accord, N.Y., Rondout Valley High School, who had two goals, an assist and three ground balls picked-up in the contest.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Saturday April 17 when they are scheduled to travel to Canton, N.Y. for another league contest versus the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton with face-off at 1:00 p.m.
