Canton, N.Y.: For second time during the week, the SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team lost to the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action this time by a 21-14 margin on Saturday. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are currently 0-4 overall on the season including a 0-3 mark in league action while Canton improves to 3-2 on the year including a 3-2 record in NAC play.
The Fighting Tigers were led offensively by senior
Sean D'Amaro, Northport, N.Y., Northport High School, who scored four goals to go with seven groundballs and by junior attackman
Kerry Blackwood, Johnstown High School/Hudson Valley Community College, who also scored four goals. Senior defender
Nick Dominic, Pittsford, N.Y., Pittsford High School, also had a big day for Cobleskill with two goals, an assist, 11 groundballs and six caused turnovers.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Wednesday April 17 when they are scheduled to travel to Marcy, N.Y. for a league contest versus the Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute with face-off scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
