Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Esports team clawed their way through the preliminary round of the SUNY Esports League of Legends Invitational to advance to the tournament's quarterfinal round.
The Fighting Tigers posted a forfeit victory over Binghamton University to open the event then dropped a decision to the Wildcats of SUNY Poly prior to defeating the Lions of Nassau Community College to advance to the tournament's quarterfinal round.
According to League of Legends Coach
John Bissember, "Team really stepped up hard in the last game to show that the Fighting Tigers still have claws."
The team will next be in action in the quarterfinal round versus SUNY Empire State College.
