SUNY Cobleskill's Tyler Brado to Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Fighting Tiger Senior High Jumper to Compete at NCAA Championships on Friday

Cobleskill, N.Y.: SUNY Cobleskill senior high jumper Tyler Brado, St. Johnsville, N.Y., Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville High School, will compete for the Fighting Tigers at the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships to be hosted by the Greensboro Sports Foundation and North Carolina A&T State University at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, N.C. from May 27-to-May 29.

Brado is currently tied for ninth in the championship seedings after having qualified for the national meet by winning the event at the All-Atlantic Regional Championship Meet hosted by St. John Fisher College at the Cardinals Polisseni Track & Field Complex clearing a program tying height of 6'9", 2.06 meters, at the event.

According to first-year SUNY Cobleskill Head Coach Zach Haskin, this is an exciting time for his senior jumper and the program.

"This is a very exciting opportunity for Brado as a senior," said Haskin. "Right now, we are on the outside looking in terms of the field but everything is so close that anything can happen at the national meet"

The high jump semifinals and finals will be contested on Friday afternoon May 28 beginning at 2:30 p.m. The event will be streamed as part of the NCAA coverage of the event at: https://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule/2021/05/24.
