SUNY Cobleskill men's baseball team members senior outfielder Jayson Maxwell, Newport, N.Y., Notre Dame High School, and freshman pitcher/infielder Stephen Tejada, Queens, N.Y., High School for Construction, were named to the 2021 D3baseball.com All-New York Region Third Team. They become the first players in program history to be named to the publication's All-New York Region Team. The talented duo led the Fighting Tigers to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Western Division Title by posting a 15-9 overall record including a 10-4 record in the program's first season of conference action before falling in the league's overall championship series to Husson University on the road in Bangor, Maine.
