Canton, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team made the trip north on Saturday afternoon to defeat the host Kangaroos of SUNY Canton 85-81 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. With the victory the Fighting Tigers are now 6-5 overall on the year including a 2-0 record in conference play while the Kangaroos fall to 5-6 overall with a 1-2 mark versus league opponents.
Once again, the Fighting Tigers depth proved to be the difference in the contest as the visitors posted a 30-to-4 advantage in bench points with 10 different Cobleskill players scoring in the contest.

Annie Canales, North Adams, Mass., Hoosic Valley High School, led a balanced Cobleskill attack with 14 points while first-year guard
Talia Washington, Schenectady, N.Y., Schenectady High School, added 13 points four assists and three rebounds. Senior center
Jordan Finch, East Meredith, N.Y., South Kortright High School, chipped in 12 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocked shots with first-year center/forward
Emily Satterday, Latham, N.Y., Shaker High School, scoring eight points and grabbing a game high of 15 rebounds and sophomore guard
Taylor Meacham, Berne, N.Y., Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, going for eight points, eight rebounds and four assists on the afternoon.
The Fighting Tiger bench was led in scoring by first-year guard/forward
Kayleigh Bryant, Schenevus, N.Y., Schenevus High School, who had 10 points, with senior center/forward
Sierra Delaney, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ballston Spa High School, scoring nine points to go with four rebounds and first-year guard/forward
Audriana Hollister, Mooers Forks, N.Y., Northeast Clinton High School, adding eight points, and two rebounds in a reserve role.
Cobleskill will conclude their weekend road trip on Sunday when they travel to Johnson, Vt. for a NAC meeting with the Badgers of Northern Vermont University-Johnson beginning at 1:00 p.m.
