Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's indoor track & field team posted a team total of 15 points to place ninth overall in a field of 12 teams at the 2022 Utica Holiday Classic hosted by the Pioneers of Utica University at their Todd and Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center on Saturday.

The Fighting Tigers did their scoring on the track led by junior distance/mid-distance runner Nick Logan, Queensbury, N.Y., Queensbury High School, who won the Mile Run in a time of 4:18.35 then came back to place fourth in the 800-Meter Run in 2:04.70. First-year sprinter Charlie Foote, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, who placed sixth in the 400-Meter Dash in a time of 52.02.

The Orange & Black also received a 10^th place finish in the 800-Meter Run from first-year mid-distance runner Jack Gemmett, Schenectady, N.Y., Schenectady High School, with a time of 2:05.88.

Cobleskill will return to action after the winter break when they return to Utica, N.Y. for the 2023 Blue & Orange Invitational and Multi Meet hosted by Utica University on Friday January 27 and Saturday January 28 at the Pioneers Todd & Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center.
