Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's indoor track & field team posted a team total of  nine points to place 11^th in a field of 11 teams at the 2022 Utica Holiday Classic hosted by the Pioneers of Utica University at their Todd and Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center on Saturday.

The majority of the Cobleskill scoring came in the Pentathlon where a trio of Fighting Tiger multi-event performers scored as sophomore Hayleigh Girard, Hudson Falls, N.Y. Hudson Falls High School, placed fifth with 1964 points, first-year Shealinn Stevens, Otego, N.Y., Unatego High School, finished seventh with 1560 points and sophomore Jenna Swyers, Peru, N.Y., Peru High School finished eighth with 1332 points.

The team also received a seventh place effort from Jenna Swyers in the 800-Meter Run in a time of 2:44.37 and a 10^th place effort in the event from sophomore Katherine Ledermann, Altamont, N.Y. Guilderland High School, in a time of 2:46.90.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action after the winter break when they return to Utica, N.Y. for the 2023 Blue & Orange Invitational and Multi Meet hosted by Utica University on Friday January 27 and Saturday January 28 at the Pioneers Todd & Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center.
