Cobleskill, NY: The Tigers were back in action this week in the SUNY esports league as the College League of Legends competition concluded last week. They competed in Super Smash Bros., Call of Duty: Vanguard and Valorant.
The Tigers esports team had their best week of the season as they went 3-2 throughout the week in three seperate games. They are currently 9-15 across all games this spring season.Â

The Tigers dominated rival SUNY Canton 2-0 this week. Â The team of
Ryan Hoag (Troy, NY),
Ben Kessler (East Northport, NY),
Conor Flanigan (Troy, NY),
Ainsley Hyland (Staten Island, NY) and
Katia Santos (Hudson, Mass) took the first match 13-4 over the Kangaroos.
The second game was the same story for Cobleskill as they jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back. They took the game 13-2. The Tigers improved to 2-2 on the season.
Conor Flanigan (Troy, NY) led the Tigers in game one with a game-high 28 kills and an average combat score of 430.Â
Ben Kessler (East Northport, NY) stepped up in the second game and added 21 kills and a match-high 347 average combat score.
Cobleskill will be in action this Wednesday, March 30
th at 8:00 pm vs. SUNY Canton.

Call of Duty: Vanguard
Cobleskill's Call of Duty team extended their winning streak to three games and improved to 3-1 on the season.
The team of
Marc Marrone (New York, NY),
Nazaire Odom (Queens. NY),
Trelee Edmund (Bronx, NY) and
Ajani Simpson (Springfield Gardens, NY) continued their winning ways thanks to excellent teamwork in their match against SUNY Brockport. The Tigers dominated game one 250-195, but dropped game two 2-6 vs. the Golden Eagles. The team regrouped and came out in game three with a new strategy to win the last two games.

This semester the Tigers have three separate teams competing since it's a 1v1 tournament.Â
James Cerny (Team C) (New Paltz, NY) defeated SUNY Empire State College due to a forfeit. Due to schedule conflicts,
David Whinnery (Team A) (Clifton Park, NY) and
Chris Canzoneri (Team B)(Whitestone, NY) had to forfeit both their games.
They are currently 2-8 overall.
