Salem, Mass..: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team dropped a non-league decision to the host Vikings of Salem State University on Saturday by a 20-14 margin. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 3-6 overall on the season to date while the Vikings even their overall record at 6-6 on the season.

Sophomore midfielder/attackman Sean D'Amaro, Northport, N.Y., Northport High School, scored a team high seven goals and picked up four groundballs for the Fighting Tigers while senior midfielder Jake Gless, Victor, N.Y. Victor High School, scored three times passed out an assist on the afternoon.

Cobleskill also received a strong effort from senior midfielder/face-off man Joe DiSalvo, Canandaigua, N.Y., Canandaigua High School, who won 27-of-37 face-off attempts on the day to go with 18 ground balls.   

The Orange & Black will return to conference action on Wednesday April 20 when they host the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action with face-off at 4:00 p.m.
