The Call of Duty team of Treelee Edmund (Bronx, NY), Nazaire Odom (Queens, NY), Ajani Simpson (Springfield Gardens, NY), Aaron Smith and Rennie Stockton (Manhattan, NY) are riding a four-game win streak as they entered the SUNY League Playoffs.  Their record of 5-2 overall earned them the number two seed overall and a first round bye, which marks a program best.

In the quarter finals, they faced Alfred State, and it was the team of Edmund, Odom, Simpson and Smith that earned the win due to a forfeit by Alfred.  The win sent the Fighting Tigers to the semi-finals.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has four teams competing in the SUNY League. All four players made the SUNY League playoffs this season, marking a new program high.  The SUNY League had a double-elimination playoff bracket this season. Matthew Nikolaus (Middleburgh, NY) was Cobleskill's top player all season and went 2-0 on week one of the tournament picking up wins against Morrisville and NCCC to advance to the third round of the winners bracket.  On week two of the playoffs, Matthew dropped his first match to #3 seed SUNY Purchase 2-1 before picking up the win against SUNY Orange to keep his playoffs hope alive.  His season came to an end in the fifth round of the bottom bracket against SUNY Plattsburgh, 2-1.

Chad Edwards (Brooklyn, NY) had a tough matchup in round one of the winners bracket as he fell to Fredonia State, 2-0.  With the loss, he was moved down to the bottom bracket where he dropped a close match to Oneonta State, 2-0.

Freshman Riley Mercera (Rye Brook, NY) made a little run into the playoffs as a underdog. He dropped his first-round match against SUNY Orange before going on a two game win streak in the bottom bracket, picking up big wins against Morrisville and NCCC.  He ultimately met his match against SCCC in the third round of the bottom bracket.
