Boston, Mass: The SUNY Cobleskill women's indoor track & field team posted a team score of 17 points to place sixth in a field of seven teams at the 2023 Frozen 8 Indoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Suffolk University at the TRACK at new balance on Sunday afternoon.

The Fighting Tigers were led by sophomore jumper Lilah Ward, Arlington, Vt., Arlington High School, who placed second in the high jump clearing a height of 4'9" and first-year multi-event athlete Lilly Swyers, Peru, N.Y., Peru High School, who placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 31'6 ¾"and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 10.34 seconds.

Cobleskill also received scoring efforts from sophomore distance runner Katherine Ledermann, Guilderland, N.Y., Guilderland High School, who placed sixth overall in the mile run in a time of 5:56.22 and from first-year jumper Shealinn Stevens, Otego, N.Y., Otego High School, who placed tied for fourth in the high jump clearing a height of 4'7".

The Orange & Black will next be in action on Saturday February 18 when they travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete at the 2023 Deneault Invite hosted by Cornell University at the Bear's Barton Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m.
