Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that first-year Lilah Ward, Arlington, Vt., Arlington High School, a member of the women's indoor track & field team has been named the Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending Sunday February 13, 2023.

The Arlington, Vt. native was the team's top individual finisher at the 2023 Frozen 8 Indoor Track & Field 8 Indoor Track & Field Championship hosted Suffolk University on Saturday at the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass.

Ward placed second overall in the High Jump clearing a height of 4'9" to lead the Fighting Tigers to a sixth-place finish in a field of seven teams at the event.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday February 18 when they travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete at the 2023 Deneault Invite hosted by Cornell University at the Bear's Barton Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m.
