Waterville, Maine: Waterville, Maine: The SUNY Cobleskill women's outdoor track & field team has been ranked fifth in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Pre-Outdoor Championships Coaches Poll. The Fighting Tigers will be looking to improve on their 2022 NAC Outdoor Championships fourth place finish at the meet.
According to Head Coach Zach Haskin the Orange & Black will be looking for scoring efforts across a wide range of events and for individual qualifying efforts at the event.
"We have a wide range of events covered this year with our young talent and a few of our individual are close to hitting post-season qualifying marks which we hope to achieve at the fast Colby track.
The Fighting Tigers will be led by the trio of junior distance runner
Nick Logan, Queensbury, N.Y., Queensbury High School, first-year sprinter
Charlie Foote, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, and sophomore multi-event athlete
Michael Masocco, Eden, N.Y., Eden High School, for strong scoring efforts.
Cobleskill will also be looking for contributions from senior thrower
Kyle Shambo, Jay, N.Y., Keene Valley High School, first-year thrower
Cal Marks, Wellsburg, N.Y., Elmira High School, and first-year multi-event athlete
Kameron Cusmano, Oakfield, N.Y., Oakfield-Alabama High School.
The 2023 NAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by Thomas College, Husson University and the University of Maine-Farmington on Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30 at Colby College's Alfond Track in Waterville, Maine.
