Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that senior thrower Dory Gosselin (Whitehall, NY) and first-year thrower Will Mann (Pawling, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending April 12, 2026 following record-breaking performances.

Gosselin etched her name in the Fighting Tigers' record book with a throw of 40.66 meters (133'5") in the hammer, breaking the program record while placing 10th in a competitive field. The senior also turned in a strong showing in the discus, finishing seventh with a mark of 38.38 meters (119'4"). For her performance, Gosselin was named the SUNYAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week, marking the first time in program history a Cobleskill women's athlete has earned the honor.

Mann continued his standout first-year campaign by rewriting the program record book in the shot put with a throw of 14.77 meters (48'5½"), breaking a mark that had stood since 1978. The throw met the Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships qualifying standard and earned him a fourth-place finish in a highly competitive field, where he was the top Division III finisher. Mann also showcased his versatility across the throwing events, placing seventh in the hammer (44.04m/144'6"), 12th in the discus (37.04m/121'6"), and 13th in the javelin (39.97m/131'1").
