Logan Thayne Claims Third Straight NAC Player of the Week

Thayne averaged 21 points, 13.7 rebounds, and recorded three straight double-doubles to lead Cobleskill to a 2-1 week

Waterville, ME: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has named Logan Thayne (Hoosick Falls, NY) its Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third straight week after her standout performances led the Fighting Tigers to a 2-1 record last week.

Thayne was dominant on both ends of the court, averaging a double-double with 21 points, 13.7 rebounds (5 offensive, 8.7 defensive), two blocks, and 1.7 assists per game. She delivered a double-double in all three contests, highlighted by a commanding 25-point, 21-rebound effort in a road win against Baruch College.

Her week also included 21 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals in a home victory over VTSU-Castleton, followed by 17 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks in a competitive 70-61 road loss to #15 Gettysburg College. Thayne shot efficiently, hitting 44.4% from the field (24-54), a remarkable 58.9% from three-point range (10-17), and a perfect 5-for-5 at the free-throw line across the three games.

The Fighting Tigers return to action on Tuesday, November 26, at 6:30 p.m., when they travel to face Oneonta State.
