Waterville, ME: Senior forward
Chalik Rush (Brooklyn, NY/Graphic Arts) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
Rush delivered a historic standout defensive performance, tying the program's Division III record with seven blocks in the Fighting Tigers' 67-58 non-conference win over Alfred State. He came close to a triple-double, adding nine points and eight rebounds to his seven blocks, while helping Cobleskill set a new Division III program record with 12 blocks in a single game.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action after the break on Friday, January 3, when they travel to Russell Sage College for a 5:00 p.m. non-conference matchup.
