Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill first-year women's outdoor track & field team member
Lilianna Peters, Hinsdale, N.Y., Allegany-Limestone High School, has been named the NAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Co-Rookie-of-the-Week for the week ending April 14, 2024. This marks the second consecutive week the Fighting Tiger distance runner has been honored by the NAC with the recognition.
The talented first-year distance runner won the 5000-Meter Run on Saturday at the at the 2024 Cortland, Alternative Meet hosted by SUNY Cortland in Cortland, N.Y. bettering the field with a time of 19:41.99 at the non-scoring qualifying event.
Cobleskill will next be in action over the weekend when they return to Cortland, N.Y. to compete at the 2024 Cortland Classic hosted by SUNY Cortland on Friday April 19 and Saturday April 20 beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m.
