The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team took three-of-four games during the week losing on Monday in Oneonta, N.Y., to the Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta 2-1 in non-league play then defeating the host Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College 9-6 in Saratoga Springs on Thursday prior to opening their 2024 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) on Sunday by defeating the visiting Kangaroos at Fighting Tiger Field by scores of 9-1 and 4-1 to move to 6-15 overall including a 2-0 mark in conference play. Lilianna Peters, Hinsdale, N.Y., Allegany-Limestone High School, led the Fighting Tiger women's outdoor track & field team to a ninth place finish in a field of 17 teams with a team total of 32.75 points at the 2024 Utica Pioneer Spring Invite hosted by Utica College in Utica, N.Y. on Saturday. Peters placed second overall in the 3000-Meter Steeplechase at the event in a time of 11:52.85 to meet the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifying standard.
