Cobleskill, N.Y.: SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball outside hitter Emma Hinze (Altenburg, Mo./Saxony Lutheran) has been named Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week following her standout performances at the McDaniel Invitational. Hinze also earned a spot on the McDaniel All-Tournament Team for her impressive play throughout the weekend.

Over the three-match stretch, the second-year led the Fighting Tigers with 20 kills and 4 service aces, while contributing 20 digs and three blocks to her stat line. She was especially dominant in Cobleskill's match against Notre Dame of Maryland University, recording a team-high 10 kills, three blocks, and a service ace.

For the tournament, Hinze averaged 6.67 kills, 6.67 digs, 1.33 service aces, and a block per game, anchoring Cobleskill's efforts on both sides of the ball.

Cobleskill returns to action on Saturday, September 21st, as they host Skidmore College at 11:00 a.m. followed by Keuka College at 3:00 p.m.
