Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball program had four student-athletes recognized on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Women's Volleyball Academic All-District Team. Juniors Emma Hinze (Altenburg, Mo.), Kathleen Smart (Nashville, TN), Hallie Gasner (Middleburgh, NY), and Baylee Kirschberg (Lindenhurst, NY) earned the distinction for their success in the classroom and their impact on the court.

The CSC Academic All-District Team honors student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both academically and athletically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore, carry a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet specific participation and performance criteria.

Hinze, a junior captain majoring in Culinary Arts, capped off a standout season by also earning All-NAC First Team honors after leading the Tigers in nearly every major statistical category. Smart, a Canine Training and Management major, appeared in 20 matches and totaled 132 kills and 231 digs, leading the team with 3.35 digs per set. Gasner, a Cybersecurity major, played in all 26 matches and finished the season with 173 kills and 30 blocks. Kirschberg, an Animal Science major, served as the Tigers' primary setter, appearing in all 26 matches and leading the team with 303 assists.
