Cobleskill, N.Y. – The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team has announced its 2026 schedule as the Fighting Tigers prepare for their first official season as a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
Cobleskill opens the season with four consecutive matches on the road, beginning at the North Country Classic on September 4 with matches against St. Lawrence University and SUNY Brockport. The Tigers then travel to Clarkson University on September 5 for a tri-match against Clarkson and regional power Middlebury College.
The Fighting Tigers make their home debut on September 8, welcoming SUNY Poly to the Iorio Gymnasium. Cobleskill then returns to the road for four straight matches, beginning with the Union/Russell Sage Crosstown Challenge. The Tigers face Union College on September 11 before taking on Hartwick College and Russell Sage College on September 12 in matches hosted by Russell Sage. The road swing concludes with a night match at Utica University on September 16.
Cobleskill returns home on September 23 for its second meeting of the season against Russell Sage before heading back on the road for two more non-conference matches. The Tigers travel to Farmingdale State College on September 26 before heading north to face VTSU-Castleton on September 30.
The Tigers open October at home against Bard College on October 6 before beginning SUNYAC play on October 9 with a road match at SUNY Canton.
Following their conference opener, the Fighting Tigers enter their longest stretch of home matches of the season. Cobleskill hosts Plattsburgh State on October 10 and SUNY Potsdam on October 17 before welcoming Alfred State on October 23 and regional power and reigning SUNYAC champion Cortland on October 24. The October 23 and 24 matches will also serve as Senior Weekend for the Tigers as the program recognizes its graduating student-athletes.
Cobleskill closes the regular season with three of its final four matches on the road. The Tigers travel to SUNY Morrisville on October 30 and Oswego State on October 31 before returning home for their final match at the Iorio Gymnasium against SUNY Delhi on November 4. The regular season concludes on November 7 when Cobleskill travels to SUNY Oneonta.
The 2026 SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled to begin with first-round matches on November 10, followed by the semifinals on November 13 and the championship match on November 14.
