2025 NAC WVB Postseason Awards

Hinze Leads Cobleskill’s Postseason Honors with First Team Selection

Hinze Named First Team All-Conference; Ward Earns All-Sportsmanship Recognition

Waterville, ME – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced its 2025 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Awards, with SUNY Cobleskill placing two Fighting Tigers on the postseason lists for their impact throughout the year.

Junior outside hitter Emma Hinze (Altenburg, Mo./Saxony Lutheran) was named to the NAC First Team All-Conference following a standout season in which she anchored Cobleskill's offense and backcourt. Senior setter Jade Ward (Miami, FL/Felix Varela) was selected to the NAC All-Sportsmanship Team, earning the honor for the second straight year.

Hinze proved to be one of the most complete six-rotation players in the conference, leading the Tigers in nearly every major statistical category. She finished the season with 219 kills, 240 digs, 36 blocks, 47 service aces, 289.5 points, and 3.08 points per set. Her performance also positioned her among the NAC's top performers, ranking in the top 10 in hitting percentage (.159), total kills, kills per set, and points. Head Coach Rachel Chandler praised Hinze's exceptional season for the Tigers.

"Emma was our leader across the stat board this year. She dominated offensively in kills and service aces, and she led us in blocks and digs as well. Emma is an exceptional six-rotation player who always makes her presence felt. She consistently leads both on and off the court, and this honor is well deserved."

Ward's recognition highlights her consistent leadership and commitment to the program. As Cobleskill's senior setter, she guided the Tigers' offense and provided stability in every rotation, all while embodying the sportsmanship and integrity the award represents.

"Jade Ward's growth during her time here has been exponential. She has a tremendous desire to improve and creates an environment where others can grow as well. Jade leads by example every day, and her positive impact on our program continues to stand out."
