Jermaine Wheeler (Manhattan, NY/Marist) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending on January 5, 2025.
Jermaine Wheeler dominated the paint for the Fighting Tigers, pulling down a career-high 20 rebounds in their matchup against Russell Sage College. Wheeler's defensive presence was undeniable, as he grabbed 13 defensive boards and added seven offensive rebounds. He also contributed seven points and a block in a strong all-around performance.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Monday, January 6, when they travel to Thomas College for a 7:30 p.m. NAC battle.
